BEAMNG NEWS episode 8 Top story: Darkstig and dr. Spiky managed to escape out of Area 51! It's unknown how they did it because, according to a dummy who saw their escape, "they just teleported to the other side of the fence"! It was really mysterious and special detectives have been called to solve this case, somebody even called Ghostbusters thinking that ghosts helped them! The case got more complicated when it turned out that the dummy who saw their escape was drunk, and it meant he couldn't be trusted anymore because things might have been different than what he saw. Meanwhile, the two escapists teamed up to create a lot of destruction: dr. Spiky put a spike strip in the middle of a state road leading to a city, then after a lot of cars fell into his trap, Darkstig showed up in his dump truck with a ram plow and rammed into the cars at full speed! Then, they both mysteriously disappeared once again. The police will have a hard time finding them, but they will have a little help from the Wreckingham University scientists who are trying to figure out what technology was used for the "teleportation" of the escapists. In other news: A new prototype of a street lamp was invented, called a "safe street lamp". Seeing how many cars got wrecked after crashing into street lamps, somebody decided to create a safer version of it. It's lighter and more deformable than the regular one, and doesn't require to be strongly attached to the ground, so when a car crashes into it, it just "flies" off the ground and the car doesn't suffer much damage. In today's big pileup crash caused by Darkstig and dr. Spiky, it was proven that the new lamp helps the cars survive high speed crashes into it. However, there is no such new safer version of a tree, so please avoid trees more than street lamps now. Wanted: Dr. Spiky and Darkstig, who are now a team and have both escaped out of Area 51. Darkstig looks like Stig from Top Gear but with a black helmet, while dr. Spiky is a dummy with a lab coat who usually drives a bizarre car simmilar to Burnside Special. Reward: The government doesn't have much money now because of the repairs that have to be done, so let's say that if you catch them, you become the Prime Minister of BeamNG Land for a month.
