This is one of the reasons why I like science. Biology is not sociology, but having a clear understanding of these topics (especially recognizing it's not as simple as it might look like on the surface) is something that has a huge sociological impact.

Typically I'm not very comfortable around these topics as someone in an environment where I can't be myself, but Crash Course presented this in a way that didn't make me feel awkward or strange. Comprehensive and sound research explained in an accessible and friendly way. I appreciate Dr. Sammy and the Crash Course crew!

It's not even just about the chromosomes, but also about the levels of expression of those chromosomoes. Epigenetics can also play a factor in how the body develops.
