Crashed my motorcycle | Dhanaulti Snowfall 2024

A Motorcycle ride to witness the spectacular Dhanaulti snowfall of 2024! Our journey started from Dehradun to dhanaulti, with dreams of a snowy adventure in Mussoorie snowfall. Discovering that the snow had melted in Mussoorie, we redirected our route to the charming snow-covered roads of Dhanaulti. This was the season's first Snowfall in Dhanaulti.
Navigating through shortcuts on the Dehradun-Mussoorie road, specifically the Barlowganj road, we, on our Royal Enfield motorcycles (Royal Enfield Himalayan and Royal Enfield Classic 500), encountered unexpected challenges as we encountered black ice starting from Buranskhanda. The slippery roads led to some falls among two-wheelers, adding an extra layer of excitement to our ride. The roads in Dhanaulti were filled with snowfall where I Slipped and crashed my motorcycle during the snowfall in Dhanaulti.
Conquering the treacherous conditions, we pressed on to Dhanaulti and continued our adventure towards the winter wonderland of Kanatal, just 11 km ahead. The pristine snow in Kanatal provided a breathtaking backdrop for our journey. We found snowfall in Kanatal and spent some time there too.
The return leg of our adventure took us through Chamba Tehri and Narendranagar, completing a full circle as we made our way back to Dehradun. In Australia our roads are very different to this. I have ridden through 10 foot deep (on the side the road) snow in Switzerland. I would love to ride in India and Nepal but riding over ice with people and cars everywhere. Looks like chaos. Stay safe ;)

Yes different parts of the world are a little more prepared for the snow season, in India we are not. However we have each other's helping hand whenever required 😁. It's chaos, tourists all over the trail you must try once in India you'll love it.
