Finally my favourite Flatout UC! I feel this game is so underrated compared to Flatout 2 mostly because of soundtrack, but I don't have any problems with it and even find it more appropriate for a flatout game. The flatout 2 soundtrack felt sometimes like I turned off the ingame music and brought in some of my playlist. I mean, it's not necessary a bad thing, because Flatout 2 soundtrack is a top notch, but it looks like it lives a separate life apart from the game. Flatout UC soundtrack felt like it was made for a Flatout game, it catches the atmosphere of the series the most being in the very middle between soundtracks of the two previuos games. That said, the Flatout 2 soundtrack has a top song playlist, but the Flatout UC soundtrack has the top game soundtrack imo.

I've never liked the soundtrack from 2. Only some songs, like Demon Speeding, Symphony of Destruction or Give It All (but I have it more related to NFS UG2). But apart from these three, there was more of soft and fastly overplayed songs. 1 and UC had definitely better soundtrack for me. Not so known metal bands made it perfect. No Connection is band that I always relate with FlatOut immediately. That's also why I love soundtrack of Wreckfest. Bugbear used not so known bands and it made the game perfect. UC has for me the best soundtrack from FlatOut series!

Crashes in Burnout are the worst. You crash into a thing you couldn't see, whether it's because of a shitty draw distance or poor track design (a car, pole, a corner sticking out from a building for some reason), a pointless crash cam activates, forcing you to watch your car crash into things and keeping you away for some time from resuming and making up for your mistake. Then a bunch of rubberbanding AI leave you in the dust, and you have to restart the whole race. Fun, amirite?

I got a zip with the renamed fo2 songs already, if you give me a place to send it i can send it to you and then all you have to do is paste it into the fouc music folder
