Crashing a H0 scale Herpa BMW 750 iL for a 1:87 diorama in detail

In this video we were crashing a 1:87 model car for an professional manufacturers exhibition diorama. Because the client liked it, we took an Herpa High Tech BMW 750 iL with a detailed engine and hood to open. Theme of the diorama was a police chase, in which the BMW was driven by German police special forces SEK. After finishing the car, our client loved it - but decided for a Mercedes S-Class (for the good guys) and an Audi V8 (for the bad guys)...

Thanks. My dream is a very dramatically Diorama: The 80´s hostage drama of "Gladbeck/Germany" (google for it). The German police was not so educated like today, so when they stopped the Hostage Drama very badly with some dead ones on a German highway, they destroyed many luxury cars. The BMW was the car of the robbers... The Police used Mercedes S-Class, Mercedes E-Class and Opel Senator to stop the robbers, all cars were destroyed more or less. This is my dream of a diorama ;-)

Donnerwetter sehr gute Arbeit. Jetzt fehlt noch die Strasse, Polizeiautos, Krankenwagen, Feuerwehr, die zugedeckte Leiche auf der Strasse und die Bestatter mit dem Sarg. Dann ist alles vollständig.Ich glaube so ein Diorama hat noch nie einer gebastelt.

:-) :-) Doch gibt es schon, letztens erst wieder eins bei Ebay gesehen... Naja, am Ende wird es ein Diorama Thema "Ende einer Verfolgungsjagd" mit drei kaputten Autos (eins im Wasser) und einer Festnahme.... eine Leiche wär da etwas zu arg, schliesslich soll das Diorama am Ende auf einer Messe stehen ;-)

Thanks - and you´re right. There are some parts missing because I didn´t capture some scenes. Next time I will destroy a Mercedes S-Class, there hopefully I can also all details...

Damals hat BMW noch schöne Autos gebaut. Heute sehen die neuen Modelle mit jedem Mal fürchterlicher aus. Und wenn das erstmal nur Elektrokarren sein werden... 😖😖😖👎👎
