I absolutely loved your take on the feminine/masculine conversation. Men who have safe auras give us the room to express our feminine energy freely and completely and tbh I as a woman think it’s the best feeling! Just like you I think that it’s something that occurs naturally, I don’t really agree with Gary’s idea that too much is expected from men. All it takes for them to create a safe space for women is to be respectful and caring, it’s not about material things, money or anything else. Also I think that there is a huge misconception (amongst men especially) about what modern feminism is. Of course it’s not about being allowed to vote anymore. It’s about fighting against insecurity, against the fact that a lot of men still consider us as inferior to them, against discrimination which clearly still occurs A LOT in fields where gender isn’t even relevant at all (academic, science etc), for body autonomy (I mean, you live in the USA, you’re on the front seat to see this going backwards). Just like we need to feel safe in a relationship to develop and express our femininity, we also need this safety in the society and the public space to do so. And the only way to achieve this safety and therefore to feel comfortable enough to lean to our feminine energy completely even outside of the family/personal sphere (which in my opinion would be beneficial to all) is through feminism. I feel like sometimes men just think about modern feminism as the right to have your t*ts out while it’s way deeper than that. It’s like they choose to focus on the shallow topics to occult the real issues they may be partially responsible for.

Gary saying, “I think it’s hard to be a man”…😒😒😒 school him Valeria. Also, what Valeria was referencing, woman becoming then men they want, is moreso saying that woman don’t need a man to get ahead in life and have the clout of career, money, etc. they are the men they used to desire.

He's a man, he wouldn't know what it feels like to be a woman and having women's problems. Just because society trains us to do so nowadays, it's not cool to belittle men and their experiences. We women are not superior. We're equals and it's not a competition who suffers more or has more problems to solve or more roles in life to juggle...

Funny thing, Gary says its hard to be a man.. the only THING, what the men have to do, is to have a (good) job and good manners. That was always so. Since we were on the trees ;) The women role has changed a lot. They have to be everything: beautiful, succesful in job, raise kids, make the household...

This is not a very sophisticated understanding of a man’s mission. It’s not just to get a job but they also have to be strong, a leader, someone physically able to intimidate an enemy or a threat. They are the ones who go to war and die or are the ones who are maimed at extremely difficult and dangerous jobs. They lose limbs building and maintaining homes, for before construction companies they were the ones that built individual homes for their families and even now construction workers are 99% men. They have to raise their children and especially raise their boys to become men. It’s very difficult to me a man and even harder to be a good man. Often, men have to be go to work alone and if they’re farmers they’re up at 3 am and sleep at 7pm. They don’t have the communal support that women have by providing labor at the community with other women.

For saying let women be women so men can be men??? What's wrong with that?!! Age has nothing to do with facts, ethics, morals, and self-respect. These are fundamental traits that should not and cannot be changed with time unless you choose to have none of them. Everything he said is from a true GENTLMAN perspective. 14:34 I feel you Valeria ! I hate those kinds shoving a camera in your face without so much as a consent ! It happened to me a couple of times in Paris, people wanting to comment on my look, or asking me how much I paid for rent to visit my appartment ! It always makes me close off and being almost desagreable because I hate the fact that our media culture normalizes that. If someone said to me in passing "love you outfit" that would make my day, but someone running after me with a camera on asking about it creeps me out.

Totally understand Valeria's fear of birds. In my case is chickens. I was terrified to the point where I studied agriculture/farming during high-school and I couldn't go through the chicken sector of the farm. Didn't understand why of it, until my dad in one of our conversations remembered that when I was kid (2 or 3 years old) I went to a chicken coop and one of the chickens attacked me when I tried to pet it... still afraid of them though.

Femininity is seen as inferior, subconsciously by many people. Which is why we often get told to deepen our voices if we want to be taken seriously because apparently feminine-sounding voices are subconsciously seen as less important/intelligent/ serious/ respected etc. Another reason why women can dress masculine and no one really thinks twice about it, but a man dresses feminine and society judges, because feminine is seen as inferior. & its also why people like to call Kendall Jenner a 'pick me' girl for saying she is a tomboy and doesn't like makeup etc - like she's telling the world she's not like other women, because she likes more traditionally male hobbies rather than silly girly hobbies.

It seems like women got a lot of rights now but If you look to Iran or even Texas it's very sad what is happening and how men want woman down on the floor again and make choices about them and even their bodies. It's not right t and as women we have to fight to be equal everyday even in 2023. It's a sad world and still not safe for women to walk alone in the street. It's horrible. And i hope the next Generation of men will be way different then the old one who want women to only cook and birth children!

women don’t ever/ shouldn’t ever have to lean into their masculine energy. if they do, then they’re with the wrong man. i wouldn’t necessarily say it’s up to a man to create that environment, but it’s up to a woman to pick the right man. the BEST man for them. women that lean into their masculine energy are definitely successful, but they’re usually single and unhappy. 😕 it definitely is hard to be a man. they have to be successful, basically create their value from nothing meanwhile women are born with value. we just have to preserve it. ALSO men have to be prepared to die for a woman, for their family. it’s a very different reality.
