I can't wait to see Fast & the Furious movies made using this tech

I was really impressed by your video! Could you please share information about the LED panels used in it? I run a production company in Korea and am considering setting up a small-scale LED studio. I have many concerns about which LED products to use, especially for handling real-time operations with Unreal Engine 5 and minimizing delay. It's challenging to research each Chinese manufacturer individually since they are physically distant and numerous. Although we are from different countries, I would greatly appreciate your help as a fellow professional in the industry. Thank you in advance!

That's as pure as virtual production gets, baby. DP sets all the shots and lighting in previz, then hands it over to the robots and sips tea on set. More or less. 😂

Wow, unreal, I wonder how much it costs, I'm sure it's a lot cheaper than shooting an actual car crash though..

What about the first shot? Seems like a drone footage, is it or also in the same technology 😬

Thanks for the question, Ben! The first shot is CG

I don't know how mature the CG/VFX industry is where you are, but virtual production is a workflow, so you can actually make it work anywhere if you just know which tools to use. It might take a few years for companies on the continent to be willing to invest in the level of tech in this video, but maybe you can be the one who helps make that happen. 🤓

@@LeiDavidChen Thank. in my country we don't have any studio with LED like this.

I guess the girl’s hair had to be tied up for the final shot. How did you guys do the flying debris in the car?
@filmversatile2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question, Jessica! The flying debris was physical debris blown into the car with a fan

Mindblowing. So much easier than shooting this traditionally. Wouldn’t need to buy as much insurance, for sure.

Thanks Fanhe. Very good point. The whole experience was much safer for our actors where they were never in any real danger on set.

Cool editing but bad directing 😒. If the car is on its roof after a crash, their arms would be hanging if unconscious because of gravity. They won't end up neatly on their laps 🤣

It looked like a bad video game cutscene. 7/10. It needs more polishing to be believable.
