I drove P2 in bottom split, which happened to be *only* P2s. Our first driver got punted on the first lap, a lot of repairs later we were 40th. We had quite a few pushbacks into the top10 and then crashes again, including one random engine failure which took 30mins to repair. For some reason resetting the car by towing or swapping drivers fixes all the damage after the repairs so we had a brand new car doing really fast laps even though we had more than an hour of repairs in total due to all the crashing. We finished P14 and all of us gained IR and SR ;)

Owen Caryl here (The slower car) From my POV, jimmy was aiming to boost to the right hand side, and positioned his car there, so I held the left to allow him to go through. Suddenly Jimmy re-directs his car to the left, and had started using the hybrid. Which by that point, it was too late for me to continue on my line :) Hoped this helped!

Crashing on purpose saved our race too. Whe spun out on the gravel outside the final turn and spun into the pit wall. The steering was bent but we only got 22 seconds of optional repairs in which the bodywork was repaired but the steering stayed bent. We were about to give up but one of us had the idea the just drive it into the wall again, so i turned hard left in the pits and towed again. Then we got a long repair instead and the steering was fixed. I guess iRacing didn't feel like the steering was broken enough the first time around. This needs to be patched!!
