I think it would be cool if the moon started in its usual spot but it gets 'bigger' everyday, then you Doni, when you start it, at first the moon looks normal but it slooowly inches closer, and maybe, after a couple in game days it starts becoming noticeable, maybe even throw in some climate change and some mutations to creatures, then it becomes abundantly clear, then eventually hits, but maybe to make it more interesting, actually provide a way of escape, maybe to another planet of sorts, Interstellar style even tho of course there would be limited space, hope it's cool Doni :)
