Easiest way to red flag in both games is to go straight on at the lowes hairpin. Everyone just runs into each other full speed and red flags happen very often

Back in 2012 when 10 or 11 year old me did a little Schumacher season and attempted to go on a 0 stop strategy in a full wet to dry 50% race in China as everyone else was on a 3-stop and I maintained the lead or 2nd place until the 2nd sector in the last lap when one of my tyres just blew up and I got relegated to 10th Those were the times, love to think about every single of those moments almost 8 years later, crazy how I remember some scenes so well... God I love this game so much even though it was as arcade as it gets xD

IF you want a red flag go on F1 2014 turn the AI difficulty to amateur and go on Monaco. Then the process is automatic. This is also a way to be the only driver in the race. I know from experience.
