Changing her into a Dread Fighter gives her the exact same speed growth as Swordmaster!Ryoma, with a ton more levels to go. And that with Dread Fighter still being a little bit slower than Swordmaster. Dread Fighter also allows her to compensate her only real weak spot, which is RESistance.

Swordfaire, Astra, Awakening, Draconix hex * whatever on a Speedboosted Swordmaster Female Corrin at speed and luck cap, paired up with jacob gives you dodge itself that can only be hit by Anankos after awakening activates. It also weakens enemies it can't kill because of range. .

In my opinion, why I believe Kamui's personality is excusable but Kirito's isn't is the very nature of the media they appear in. After that, either the RNG is on my side and my fifth unit kills the boss, or goddamn Frederick one-shots him, because Fredrick is synonymous with Experience Thief.

Her low Def and Res sucks along with her hit rate in the beginning, but if you have her clean up units and unequip "gamble" then by the time she's a Berserker, she's self-sufficient. She was the first unit that I got to lvl 99 and to get max stats (except magic). I respect your opinion, but Charlotte needs more love.

12:45 to clear this up, it's actually 50% of the user's atk stat. What that means is if you have 40 atk, and the unit would hit that general for 2 damage, when dragon fang triggers that general will eat 22 damage. NOT 3. Dragon fang is quite literally the best attack trigger skill since aether and astra, and completely shits on luna.

my favourite skill is heart seeker. In conquest, you have many... many dodgy enemies, but heart seeker takes -20 avoid, when the unit stand next to the enemy. this alone is great, but the best is, it will also help the other units hit them with a higher accured, so kogha or any other on the throne get their ass kicked. the downside is, when you can't kill the boss or enemy, the dark mages or leo have a risk to get crushed, but the skill is a must have in conquest

Here's my personal list 1) Shelter: Let's you get 2 dances one player phase. Nuff said 2) Heartseeker: You wouldn't believe the amount of utility this has in lunatic. Makes easier captures, lets you negate throne avoid bonuses, allows you to debuff the crap out of a powerful or paired up enemy, etc. 3) Elbow Room: A great damage skill that comes very early. 4) Trample: Another fantastic damage skill 5) Inspiring Song: helps get over many doubling (therefore ORKOing) 6) Any rally: stat stacking is huge in fates so why not make it even better? 7) Malefic Aura: great AOE skill for magic (and if i hear 1 more person say "fates magic sucks" i will literally go on a riot) 8) Defender: You never know when those extra stats come in handy 9) Lifetaker: Comes late but really helps survivability 10) Lunge: limited use but extremely helpful. Disrupting unit positions can really be helpful even if it is somewhat niche

well warp was always broken, whether its a staff or a skill. just watch DD151's FE 5, FE 6 and especially FE 11 0% growths playthough, the endgame is pretty much dictated by the various ways you can abuse warp. It also doesn't help that the LP is just bloody amazing since he can complete the entire game without losing a single unit, with each unit having all of their growths reduced to zero and still manage to finish each chapter within 5-10 turns.

It's important to note that Dragon Fang isn't a 50% boost to damage: it's actually adds 50% of your *attack* stat, IE how much damage you would do without enemy armor. IE, it's even better than a 50% increase because it ignores armor entirely. You could change a 1 damage attack into a 30 damage attack with the right circumstances.

My favourites are Nohrian Trust and Hoshidan Union. Combined, and with a defense partner tailor-loaded with offensive skills, Corrin is unstoppable. My prefered combo is with an S ranked Silas with: Defender, Astra, Luna/Aether, Lethality and Replicate. My Corrin has herself Hoshidan Union, Nohrian Trust, Vantage, Replicate and Dragon Fang. With 32 Hab, the chance of no one ability triggering is really low. And that is assuming the Yato or Dragonstone don't already kill the opponent. Get too low on health? Switch to Silas, his skill activates, and he will take so low damage Aether will heal everything he takes. Replicate is just there to have two broken pair ups for the price of one. I'll probably change Vantage and both Replicate to Rend Heaven or Countermagic and Regenerator for Corrin and Warp for Silas. Really, I can't recall the last time the enemy did even hit me... Where is the point of an ability that never activates?

I did one with Selkie and Hisame. I had Selkie with Hoshidan Unity, Nohrian Trust, Dragon Fang, Vantage and Awakening, while I have Hisame in the back with Astra, Rend Heaven, Dual Guard + from Lodestar, Aether and Lethality.

I like Lifetaker, it lets you make moves with Dark Knights that would leave them severely crippled, but kill an enemy, while also gaining back half your health, it's also fun to get it on other units like Generals and the like to let them solo entire battalions with ease. I remember doing hard mode Conquest and soloing the entire map as a Dark Knight Corrin with this skill (and a bit of luck).

I have to say, Elbow Room is a pretty sweet skill. Cavaliers can get it at base level and open areas are like 80% of the game which means free +3 instant damage.

Nohrian trust is pretty great. Once i was fighting Anankos with Corrin paired up with Kaze and Corrin used Lethality on Anankos. I was very confused for a while.

Thing is, Nohrian Trust doesn't have to be situational. You load up your spouse with trigger skills, and stay in pair up...Forever. It's in my "How to never die ever" skillset. Corrin:Renewal, Lifetaker, Hoshidian Unity, Nohrian Trust, (Skill of your choice, I use Draconic Hex, and occasionally switch for Warp) Spouce: Aether, Sol, Pavise, Aigis, and Luna, Dragon Fang or Rend Heaven. I use the +Skill boon, and I've soloed entire Maps with this setup. I usually have the beastgirls as spouces, cause Selkie helps Avo, and Velouria helps Tank.

Karpfador Here's what I do, I put the replica Azama in the back not to fight. If the original gets damaged, the replica can use a concoction or psychic to heal itself, and since they share hit points, the one fighting will get healed as well. Also if the original is out of range of the replica and needs further healing after the use of a concoction, Flora or Jakob or someone else can heal up the replica. My Azama a high luck stat and also has lucktaker and miracle, so he survives with 1 hp a lot and needs healing

The Nohrian Trust skill is actually completely broken if used properly. It effectively gives the character an extra 4 skill slots (since one of the five is basically replacing the one Nohrian Trus takes) This means you have can the pair up unit run Pavise, Aegis, and three offensive activatable skills, while Corrin can run all the good passive skills like Vantage, Hoshido Unity, etc. Also, Wary Fighter is actually good characters who are not knights if they are going to be using weapons that can't double. Like Corrin if you want to focus on your dragon stone (so Dragon Tank builds) or a Nosferatu using sorcerers. In fact, in one playthrough I did both those things. I had a dragon tank Corrin who was running Nohrian Trust, Hoshido Unity, Quixotic, Vantage, and Wary Fighter with a pair-up support partner with Aether, Sol, Pavise, Aegis, and Miracle.

Sacred Stones Summoner had a different niche than Mechanist altogether. The Mechanist’s Replicate increases damage output while risking the life of the unit a bit more, but the Summoner’s phantoms were there to draw aggro away from the main group, being effectively completely disposable. That could help defend a weak ally from an otherwise fatal blow, or hit a well defended glass cannon with a small nuke that you knew was getting absolutely murdered after that attack.

My set on Corrin is Quixotic, Hoshidan Unity, Aether, Astra and Lethality. On a skill boon luck bane Corrin. I constantly activate Lethality because of this. And if it isn’t Lethality, it’s Astra. I very rarely activate Aether though.

I like this list, My Favorite Skill is Life and Death given to the Masters of Arms class it really worked for picking off last enemy's. I really like the fact that no matter what, you WILL get 10 damage even if your regular state can't inflict any damage at all.

I know DLC Skills and Skills from previous games don't count on this list, but Aether is probably my favorite activation skill in Fates, and really, the whole series. (Though it's probably tied with Pavise.) Yes, it only has a Skill stat x 0.5 chance of activation, as opposed to Sol and Luna seperately, which has a Skill stat chance, but the two consecutive attacks REALLY help at times, and it's both a healing skill and a damaging skill at the same time.

I doubt anyone's here to see this, but I gotta say Duelist's Blow doesn't only break Swordmasters... It breaks Nine-Tales Kaden (A+ Hitama to Friendship Seal to Samurai for it), most Falcon and Kinshi Knights, Ninjas, Dread Fighters.... Actually it helps almost everyone. Sometimes, there's no better defense than that chance to take no damage at all in my opinion.

you know which skills is better than 75% of this list? Nohrian Trust, that allows you to use the mentioned 75% from this list, yet better if you get some of those 75% skill on Kaze and use him as support unit only, you will in the end create 1.5 man killing army with character that had 11 skills! (Kazes personal works like Miracle for supported unit, you can put some really life saving skills on Kaze or activable skills on Kaze and stat boosting or some neat skills on the main unit and get a god to play as, especialy if you breed a child for that one purpose)

Live to Serve works well with all healers. Yes, it's usefulness fades later on when you can better guard the healers/have more. IMO, in Revelation, Corrin is powerful in Revelation if you cross class the two noble classes.

I know you love to reference how hard Radiant Dawn is, but I recently heard something interesting. Apparently when Radiant Dawn was being translated the difficulties were mixed up. Our Easy mode was originally Normal mode and our Normal mode was originally Hard mode. So assuming you play every FE game on Normal mode, like you yourself said, that means you've actually been playing on Hard mode all this time.

I knew about the difficult setting being swapped around and yes I do play it on normal mode (aka hard mode), but regardless of difficult radiant dawn is the hardest fire emblem game I've played based on structure and level design, since in part 1 the units you get and under-leveled and under-powered, and in part 2 your team in incredibly small and you have to fight a ridiculous amount of enemies, not to mention you're constantly jumping between teams, so trying use and train certain units is much more difficult compared to other games.

i would say your number 1 was pretty good but id also put hoshido unity in there because 10% increase to skill activation is great as well and makes corrin so broken when you play in revelations because it also can work on the nohrian skills

Hoshidan unity is pretty bad skill, 10% isn't gonna make skill activation reliable, you better pick a better and easier skill to get like Elbow room, lunge, swap, shelter, Strength+2 Etc.

Duplicate manages to get pretty busted anyway because you can breed that thing down. Sure, two mechanists might not be the most overpowered thing ever. But when you have two Shiros running around, each toting a Waterwheel, you start to trivialize a lot of otherwise tricky segments. Sure it takes awhile but the result is sooo worth it.

Really I just can't wait for a other Fire Emblem on Console (AKA not Handheld) I know the next think is a mobile game but really i don't like HandHeld that much any way. I feel wary fighter should of halve physical damage taken or make you invincible on battle activation. Not getting doubled only helps Benny and why play him when you get Effie earlier.

+pro2firez Effies more of a damage type of general while bennys more of a "You shall not pass" type of general imo. From my experience benny gets a defense growth every level up and combining that with beruka pair up, the only way i have benny taking any damage is when i see 20 masterninjas all smacking him with shuriken and poison striking him to death

+yOU tHOT Effie has a good enough speed growth naturally (55% for an armor unit) so unless you're getting rng screwed out of speed she doesn't need it plus with tonic or pair fixing her speed issue, anything that still doubles her are fragile units that die on counter hit. General doesn't change her movement or battle performance like great knight does. Benny and his son need general's wary fighter badly.

My personal list: 10. Salvage Blow. I love the concept of getting a weapon when you defeat an enemy based on luck stat. Cool concept. 9. Good Fortune. It works great for mercenaries because of their naturally good luck growth rates. 8. Shelter. I like the whole "reverse pair up." It saves units in danger and can be incredibly helpful. 7. Rend Heaven. Same reasons you listed. 6. Lunge. It's a bit situational, but it's extremely helpful. 5. Quick salve. Like Live to Serve, it's a skill that's necessary for units to survive. 4. Draconic Hex. Best stat reduction skill. 3. Live to Serve. This skill is just what I needed. Without it, i would've lost two units on the enemy phase. It's pretty awesome. 2. Savage Blow. One of the main reasons I love Malig Knights so much (well besides the fact that wyverns and mixed attackers are my favorite). A Camilla!Velouria with this skill is OP as fuck. 1. Nohrian Trust. One of the absolute coolest skills imo. Since my female avatar is married to Laslow, her being able to trigger Sol is really freaking amazing.

Both skills don't give much for how hard they are to get, skills like lunge, shelter, Strength +2, Elbow room, swap, smite, mov +1, poison strike, Darting blow, vantage, malefic aura etc are better and are easier to get

I guess I’m not a skill person, namely because I grew up on Shadow Dragon. Dragon Fang on Corrin or their kid is amazing and it’s almost an unfair advantage. I also like the Witch skill of Brew because the potions are useful.

Seriously, corrin makes the BEST debuffing unit. You can farm pebbles and supports from the before awakening DLC stage and make Corrin CRIPPLE anything that he wants to

I'm in the middle of a Sacred Stones run, and ironically, Amelia is pretty fast, even though I made her a knight. 14 speed at level 10 knight. Thats pretty good

Also, Wary Fighter blows. It makes enemies more annoying to kill and is useless on high-speed Generals like Effie... WHICH ARE THE BEST KIND OF GENERALS.
