This is an absolutely stunning only one NP in Oregon. I loved it when I visited this NP back in 2018. The blue color of the water and clear sky is just the perfect. I drove the road along the lake, but didn't hike to the water. This one is amazing. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

Thanks Suri. I've always wanted to go there and my hub who lived in Oregon didn't know about the trail to the water, so glad we have the time to explore. It's such an amazing spot!

Surprisingly it wasn't that color on the surface, maybe low 60ies?

Looks awesome I'd definitely jump in too. Those rock formations look great. Checking out wizard Island would be fun. Thanks for sharing 👍

I was there in late fall. An ancient Japanese woman was being helped or escorted on the traipse down by about 7 late teen early 20s Japanese men and women. Each one was touching or over helping the old lady and they were traveling slowly. Seems they were trying to score points for inheritance or similar. My friend and I passed them at the beginning of the trail and spent an hour at the Lake. Sunset went and we started the return and that pack was arriving at the water in the dark, the rim wall blocked light. I occasionally think about how they all managed the return uphill in the dark.

Wow, that’s a story, hopefully they helped her back up, and took advantage of all the benches
