Like it’s absolutely cringe as fuck and completely ridiculous but in a way that’s just self-aware enough to feel fun and silly (though not 100% of the time, that’s for sure). It’s trash but it sounds like trash that Tracy had fun writing. There’s something endearing there Also genuine power move for the first book’s love interest to ultimately end up with another dude??? Stephenie Meyer would have paired him with a literal infant before daring to consider another grown ass man with an established relationship and character. Quake in those designer boots bitch natural selection will not spare you. Also Crave did the LI bait-and-switch better than ACOTAR there I said it sue me
