Truly just enjoy watching you work out the bugs, with carb set-up, versus fuel injection

I really appreciate these videos Brother! I like the detail you go in to when working. I also love the Grey Ghost content! Honestly... Carb or Fuel Injected there are issues... But looks like you are getting things dialed in...

Power valve is crucial,on the size!! Plug off all vacuum ports. Then use one port off the carb, not intake!! See how much vacuum is there. Say if it's 13lbs of vacuum divide by 2 so a 6.5 is used. 15 lbs use 7.5. If using it on a truck and you need fuel sooner and longer go up a half point. So 15lbs on a truck use 8or8.5

I enjoy this style video, good tips are always given on the small stuff that drive people crazy

That's the 1st thing in experience people do is go after the carb when it's something else. Heard this for decades.

I like the smells, and the sounds of a 4 barrel , but prefer EFI for my daily, because long cold winters, humid, hot summers.

I have read a bunch of different things. When you change power valve sizes, do you have to rejet? Im working on my first carbed car. Holley 750 hp series. It currently has no power valve and the jetting is set square at the moment. I understand the basics of how to find a strating power valve size.. trying to figure out where to start with jet sizing in the front and rear after i put one in. Great channel, long time subscriber! I would love to see a 94/5 build

I hear you on the carb vs efi thing. I just put 24# injectors with matching maf, and now the car does that ridiculous idle high and low during first startup of the day thing. Ugh !!!

Base idle reset with the 2,2,2 minute reprogram cycle.

@hotrodray6802 I'll do the base idle reset but I guess I don't know the 2,2,2, minute thing?
@VictorSanchez-kp9nt2 ай бұрын
@hotrodray6802 I reread the procedures to base idle reset and was reminded of the 2,2,2. Thanks again I did the reset now I have to wait until tomorrow morning after the car becomes very cold since it only acts up on the first start of the day.
