Olivia comes in and says shes going to say what she needs to say. She says ever since hes been shot, shes been sitting out there 24/7 drowning in a sea of guilt. And shes still his mother, and she loves him more than anything in this world. This distance between them hurts her, too, and if he wants to be mad at her, hes going to have to do it to her face. She knows she made a big mistake, but shes raised a son that makes her proud every single day.Lulu goes home and sits on the couch. She hears a knock at the door and its Sonny. He says he knows shes mad, but he needs her to see him clearly. She says for the first time in her life she sees him clearly. She sees past the smile and the good manners to the real guy. And blood money isnt an exaggeration, its right on. She starts ripping into him.Olivia says she cant stand when hes this mad at her. She misses talking to him. He says he loves her, but he doesnt feel like talking to her right now. A good time would have been when he first came to town, or anytime after that. She could have told him about Sonny. He says hes really pissed about that, and something else. He says that him putting this distance between them gives Sonny a place. He says Sonny is using him to get into her heart. Olivia says she knows what Sonny is. She says she kept this secret for that reason; she didnt want Dante to want to be like Sonny. She says hes every bit as handsome and charming and smart as Sonny, but hes grounded. He says Olivia feels sorry for him, she says of course she did. How can she not. She says she feels sad for Sonny and herself, because hes so mad at her. But she can handle that because shes so proud of him.Sonny wants Lulu to hear him out. She lets him in. He says this is the only chance he has to get to know Dante, he wants to know if she can help him. She says she wont. He says Dante understands that hes sorry and why he did it. Lulu says he understands hes a cold blooded killer. He says he and Dante are blood and thats one of the reasons why he covered for him. Lulu says he covered because Dante thinks he somehow deserves to get shot. Sonny says thats what he says, but he really did it cause he wanted to protect Sonny.He says thats the reason he lost his badge. Lulu says well hes still a cop. She tells him that Mac offered Dante a job at the PCPD and he accepted.Olivia says shes going to leave, she doesnt want to push her luck. Plus, he needs rest and she doesnt want to incur the wrath of Lulu. She says hes got some woman on his hands there. He says he knows. Sonny comes in. He says he heard that Dante joined the PCPD. Does that mean that Dantes going to continue to go after him? Dante says he doesnt care that Sonnys his father, hes going to dedicate himself to taking Sonny down.

It's hard to feel sorry for Sonny in this case. I mean, the man SHOT a genuinely good person who saved his son's life AND his life only a few months ago!

this is how i feel about sonny...there are people in life who go through the things he has gone through, and turn out exactly as he has...and there are those who go through the same things and still turn out to be good people...they don't let the bad experiences turn them into bad people, they learn from them...so i don't feel sorry for sonny, because he made the choices he made...

no Lulu has every right to lay into Sonny. He shot his own son, cop or no cop. There was never an excuse

@greenleo111 so true...Sonny has been given too many breaks as it is...Time he takes responsibility for his own actions. I feel no sympathy for him at all. He made his own choices and deserves any anger (and worse) shown to him.
