Crawfish & Shrimp Boil
Spice Mix
Ingredients
2 oz. dry mustard
2 oz. Tone's® Ground Allspice
2 oz. Tone's® Chili Powder
2 oz. Tone's® Cayenne Pepper
2 oz. Tone's® Italian Seasoning
2 oz. Tone's® Granulated Garlic
2 oz. Tone's® Paprika
2 whole bay leaves
Crawfish & Shrimp Boil
Ingredients
4-6 corn cobs, cut into thirds
1 bag little golden potatoes, whole
Tone's® Salt & Pepper to taste
1 lb. spice sausage link, chopped
1 lb. U/10 shrimp, peeled
1 bottle dark beer
1 master bin live crawfish
Make
•Purge crawfish in water before cooking to clean off any mud. Place crawfish on ice overnight.
•Add all spices to a large pot of hot water. Stir.
•Add corn cobs, potatoes, Tone's® Salt and Pepper and spicy sausage. Allow to cook about 10 minutes.
•While other ingredients are cooking, go through crawfish and discard any dead ones, keeping the live crawfish aside for cooking.
•After ingredients have fully cooked, add shrimp, dark beer-cook about 5 minutes.
•Lastly add live crawfish and cook for about 5 minutes.
•For serving: layer newspaper on a table and spread ingredients over the paper to serve

I'm from the South and I add onion, lots of garlic, lemons and Zatarain's liquid crab boil. I know you had a small pot so half of what is normally used is fine for indoors. Good job!

Hello guys I'm Steven O. from New Orleans and I just came across your videos. No disrespect to what you guys are doing but I frequently boil crawfish every season and this is def not the way to go. It's cool to make your own season but when your boiling crawfish you have to let them soak up the season. So the ones on here were most likely bland because no soaking step was involved. I understand that you were probably on a timed schedule but it could have been mentioned. Also the potatoes can be cut in half no matter the size. If you boil them whole they won't developed the flavor.

Steven Orkes so true. In addition to that a crawfish boil isn't a fancy in house kitchen thing to do lol. The only thing I can get with was the seasoning mix.

sAnFran all ingredients should go in half or whole.... garlic, onion, potatoes, corn, crawfish boil seasoning, crawfish has boil at least 15 min. Sausage can go in there but the last ingredient should be shrimp with no heat. The boil itself will cook the shrimp.

Props for dude being professional and doing a great vid. But those crawfish were all dead. Crawfish recover much faster and are very lively when they do. No way alive crawfish will stay still in a little bowl. They would crawling all over the table. Also the shrimp goes in after the crawfish as they cook faster, or you will over cook them. Also after the crawfish and shrimp are done (a few minutes tops) you gotta drop the water temp to around 150deg or so to stop the cooking process and allow everything to soak. The soak time allows the flavors to set into the food. I would love to see him redo this vid cooking crawfish but with corrections made to the process noted by many others in the comment section. That guy sells the vid very well. Enjoyed watching.
