Looking forward to the ROV, pity it was all blocked up, plenty more to find at another mine!

Considering the amount of moisture that exists in both the mines you explored in this video and the fact that black powder has a propensity to lose potency as it's exposure to water increases how did the miners manage to keep their power dry? I used to shoot black powder pistols some time ago and high humidity would become a problem while rain would wash out our matches altogether. I can't imagine charging holes in rock when it was raining from the back with water running down the ribs.

I'm always impressed at how well preserved things are down under water. Thanks for the very cool video. 🙂

I know you've said it before but how long did it take the old timers to get through a yard of rock with pick and shovel?

ROV? I am guessing that is remotely operated vehicle and I think it works underwater. Is that right?

Its completely blocked up with dirt and silt. That first coffin level must've taken years to dig by hand yet they found nothing of value. All that time wasted
