That Crayola things kinda makes you Peta Hewitt's spiritual daughter to my eyes , she has amazing skill and load of fancy pencils and still she can have genuine fun with cheap pencils , I like that spirit so much !!! Thanks a lot for that great series of video !

Beautiful Work and well done Crayolas! I struggle with myself whether to buy those or not. You said they are hard pencils but the color laydown seems so good! I think it's also quite hard to judge what "hard" means. Some people call the polychromos hard pencils but for me they are definitely not. So the Crayolas might meet my expectations in terms of a rich color laydown. Besides that the colors are really nice! One more thing: if you like soft and rich colors you should try the Giotto Stilnovo! They are fantastic budget priced pencils👍

Thank you very much :) These are hard pencils. They're slightly harder than polychromos, which I think is "hard" as well. Bu hard I mean they keep a point and don't feel like a wax crayon with a woodcasing like the Prismas. I hope that makes sense. I don't mean hard like they're scratchy or they lack pigment. These certainly aren't artist pencils in terms of pigment, but they're nice! The Crayolas really lack those nice dark pencils.. so they don't turn out as rich as I would have wanted. I'm more into the "hard" pencils, but I will do some research on those pencils to see if I'll like them. Thank you! :)

We are talking about the same thing👍A hard pencil for me means that you have to push hard to get some pigments on the Paper. I call a rich and smooth color laydown a soft pencil...like the polychromos, caran d ache pablos, derwent colorsoft or the staedtler ergosoft in the budget friendly range. I am sure you would like the Giotto pencils. Rich color laydown and they keep the point as you call it ☺

A hard pencil can be very smooth and easily give rich pigment as well ;)

Hi again love the way this picture is coming together and I finally got myself the 100 set of crayola pencils found it in the walmart here in BC Canada it cost me 11 dollars but was worth it as they are normally a lot more expensive I am loving them but then I have always loved the crayola products my girls when they were little got crayola wax crayons and the 24 pack pencils for school and markers 12 pack even now they still enjoy colouring and we all use crayola I also have some Marco Rafine pencils , and Staedler pencils ,and Scholar Prisma Colors and some gel pens and other types of markers I love colouring .
