yea, they debuted when Kpop groups and styles were still favoring overly "glamorous" and sexy styles. they debuted just too soon for the Kpop scene to really appreciate them. they'd do great right now as Kpop has shifted from "glamorous" to a more young, chic and fun style...being led by groups like Twice and Blackpink.

Cute GGs tend to struggle to gain a foothold until they go crush in the modern market. CP were always going to be niche, despite the quality of their actual music. This would be ok, you can make a good living in the niche market if they had been fairly rewarded and appreciated by their agency. Oh My girl are a good example of this. But, sadly, CP were exploited and worked into the ground to the point that they just didn't want it anymore.
