Outstanding tune !!.....the BBC 4 doc' "everybody in the place" got me on the case of tracking this down, blinding documentary .....made me realize how lucky I was to be part of the 'warehouse generation' .

@Christian Tracey Good to hear enjoy every last moment because believe me yesterday I was 18 it literally goes that quick until one day you're staring at your old self in the mirror and wonder where it all went and everyone too.

When this hit, your boots flew off. Yeah, I was there when shit went down. Blackburn 88, 89, 90, whatever, it's all a blur. Scene was over by 93. No matter what they say on wikipedia. Stunning, stunning days and nights. We was all tripping with some Billy then down flew the Doves.

@@crazecol The illegals were great, meet up at the services, Charnock or what have you, follow that car. That Chase and Status video was right on the money, smoking some rocky back at base then piling into an XR2, no mobile phone though lol. The clubs were dingy basements really, smoky dens of boss music and shady swaying of like minded people, fuck that super-club bullshit, did some Cream, wasn't a patch on the Eclipse or Shelley's or Kinetic, hell the Quad warehouse 2am till 6am was better than anything Ministry or Cream ever did. The big legal events like Amnesia or Helter Skelter were fun, man I have some tall tales, one night at an Amnesia held in some airforce hanger or something, I'd been on a double header and should have swerved it, rough from the night before, cue jumping out the back of a moving Sierra Sapphire and going to a hospital in fuck knows were, a little local thing, telling the Doc I knew my number was up only for him to tell me it was some sort of panic attack due to sitting in a pot fumed car for a 100 miles and that I was fitter than him. Jumped from the obs chair feeling a million dollars asking the nurse to phone the venue asking to not turn us back coz it was a 12 am lockout. 5000 troopers off their tits and me Lazarus necking two Doves and a gram feeling like the last several hours happened to some other chump. Went to Fantazia in Donnington in 92 and that was the beginning of the end. Could feel it. Was becoming more about the dough and as much as I like fast beats they were getting too fast and throwing in chipmunk voices. Was a boss night though, plus I was on the telly, some BBC doc used footage of the queue and me and a mates mug, wasn't watching but always remember my younger sister shouting at my mum that Tony's on the telly and it's about drugs haha. Didn't live there at the time anyway, just coincided with a visit. Not a personal opinion that the scene had peaked, a fact. Was something else for 5 years though. Like I say, it was trips and speed then E, then everyone got on the coke and lets make wads of cash off these kids, myself included, and well, it was done. Fabulous though. Got to stop having a few Chivas and cokes and listening to tunes haha.
