11:48 blue attacker is in possession of the ball and clearly gets the touch on the ball and is attempting to side step the defander. Then the white defender steps in the attackers path. That makes it a foul on the defender. The head to head contact and bleeding is the fault of the defender stepping in. The referee got this correct.

12:59 #21 is now wearing #19. That is technically not allowed. For high school level, I'm fine with it since the player needed to replace a bloody jersey. The referee just needs to make sure he is aware if cards have been given to either of those numbers.

This is why Golden Goal should not be used. CIF is failing on the philosophy of NFHS and their own standards of education. The CIF Tournament Director for Soccer needs to be replaced with someone who believes in the integrity of interscholastic sports.

@@KurintohOf any of the teams out there, I would associated with the yellow team. Though they did not do anything to make our team proud. All other organizations, NCAA and FIFA, have gotten rid of the Golden Goal. The NCAA realized how unsportsmanlike it is. Please take time to educate yourself on the philosophy of the NFHS and the educational rubric that is to be used. I have been involved in high school sports for over 40 years; as a player, coach and official. I have also been on NFHS rules committees. So I am educated on this issue.

100% agree. As someone who played in CIF in high school, the golden goal rule has caused so much pain, both emotionally and through physical confrontations with the other team or even teammates. Very sad.

I will counter that this is a team sport. The sport should be decided as a TEAM. During play, a PK is only awarded when a DK kick is awarded inside the PA. The PK "shoot out" is just a time saver. Score your goals and win during the time allowed.

8:43 #12 blue clearly fouls the keeper by jumping into the keeper. The important question is did the ball completely cross the goalie before or after the contact. If it was before it should have been no goal. If it was after, then the correct call was made and the goal counts.

Funniest part was #15 in white just shoving #9 in black as hard as he could... and then getting mad when the foul was given.

The first goal of the black team should have been disallowed. Interfering with the goalie. Never 100 percent sure if he went for it or not therefore it should be not counted
