@@enduro.station the hill climbs you post are amazing! I never was a top notice MX racer (had a friend go pro tho, like the real deal/factory) because I am just big, football linebacker big. But I loved to climb. Dating me, my two favorite platforms were the 83' CR 480 and the 85' CR500, slightly modded if course; ported and polished, welded HYGGE pipes, big ol swing arms and of course, the hilarious Answer Roost, do nothing, Boost can. Good times being "on the pipe". 🙂

That’s a great idea, using a skyline and log carrage to bring the bikes up the hill, or down.

It was very helpful for both the rider and the helpers. That track is actually a ski track, with a cable system used for winter sports.

That’s a valid point! Without a proper launch and with tight turns, the climb becomes even more challenging. It’s definitely a tough course that tests every skill. Thanks for sharing your insight!

15 feet if he’s lucky. The mud is like snot and the hill is 70-75 degrees lol. Normal dirtbike like even a star bike wouldn’t touch 15 feet. Just not designed for it

You can't compete. A minimum displacement of 600 CC is required

If you had to choose one or the other ! Doing hillclimbs for Fun , or learning Ballet , try Ballet first , ride that bike like a Dancer , Skäl ! I’d laugh my ass off , if Guy in a Unitard went full climb , how confident are ? Unitard confident ! That’s committed

Funny sport to see, but they all loose on the front springs. Not the engine power it seems. Just loose control of the bike, by the bumps

Definitely an intense sport to watch! The front springs and suspension play a huge role in maintaining control over those bumps and rough terrain. It’s not just about engine power-suspension and rider control are crucial for handling these challenges!

What's the idea of the long wheelbase and the fat back wheel? Is that meant to be better for hill climbs? I'd have thought you want a standard dirt bike wheelbase and normal knobbly dirt tyres. That's what they're designed for. These long wheelbase bikes are far too heavy to get up that hill.
