Something to add that Tacolilla said on his stream: - He used shorty to kill the skye's wolf to forced them a wide peak, then he can run and gun with spectre. - Melser's call after losing the spike was: "Guys I lost the spike". - kingg's call after Melser's call was (calmly): "I'll get it". - Adverso (the IGL) call's when 3v4 and spike planted (WAR CRY): "LET'S WIN THIS!!" (Taco told us on stream that the hype of that call was memorable). - Tacolilla's call when realized adverso had ult (yelling at him): "YOU HAVE ULT!", that makes him go back (to ensure a succesful ult) and breach ult. - Adverso before ulting's call (yelling at Shyy): "SHYY I'M ULTING". - Shyy's Call when 2v1: "I Play your contact". Na fan or not, the fact that XSet threw 2 games in a row against "beatable" opponents really solidifies the Na 1st seed curse, and Lan isn't an excuse either, first time or not there has been countless first timers on Lan who performed for greater than expected (North beating Xersia, guild toppling groups, FPX's substitute run to qualify for playoffs). First time Lans are a fascade of an excuse at this point for such a high expectations team

As an XSET fan, Cryo basically needs to leave at this point. XSET is just wasting his prime and not capitalizing on him especially when 3 of their players bcj, ayrin and dephh are underperforming, it basically means hell for the team. Either find better replacements for the said 3 or just leave the team. Good luck XSET.

XSET deserved to lose this tournament than the Guard in Reykjavik. They threw way too hard and probably embarrassed the NA scene. The Guard was fine since they got caught off “guard” by PRX’s playstyle (plus they work harder).

That was one of the most wth moment in Valorant for me. Both teams threw so hard, with Leviathan fcking up and dropping the spike at heaven and Xset not guarding the god damn spike enough. Xset seem to have forgotten that Raze can also jump places and focused so much on the bottom of the stairs. They should already know that there's only two ways that Leviathan can try to take the spike and they focused on the one that has the least likelihood of succeeding, i.e. trying to get to it via the route going to spawn which is already guarded by at least 3 players. They instead left the more unlikely to be tried and thus more likely to succeed route of just jumping to heaven.

Nah. Go to 2:43. Breach was there and Skye was running towards heaven. Jett was on the lurk and Omen was running for cover as he knows LEV didn't have spike. Only thing to question is why was Cryo going further in A link to peek B when Jett was lurking further already. But that said, 2 should be enough in heaven to get a trade on a Raze hero play while Omen and Chamber sets a cross on A link. It's just that things happened too fast that Skye wasn't able to get there on time. Not an NA fan myself but you're shitting them hard here on false grounds, without thinking clearly yourself. Anyway, hope FNATIC or DRX wins Masters 2.

The way XSET performed here was actually embarrassing. I know their form in NA was really strong but good lord. The amount of mistakes and advantages they threw, the constant lack of awareness in certain situations, their fundamentals were often bad. I almost feel like I would’ve rather seen FaZe, 100T or EG there.

Not gonna lie this XSET team is really bad and they just relied on Cryo and Zekken being cracked to get where they are. The team play was terrible and if they are bad at masters, things could look bad for the org and they will not get a spot next year. dephh, AYRIN, and Bcj are not cutting it, especially dephh since he takes the responsibility as IGL. Give Cryo and Zekken teammates like Zander and Trent and they could go much further.

some of the worst valorant played in vct masters history. both teams competing to see who could throw harder. almost every round where a team had a man advantage they somehow managed subvert expectations and either lose or come really close to losing it. Entertaining in its own way to see the worst 2 teams in the competition battle it out but really both teams deserved to lose honestly and its great we can hopefully see some decent gameplay in today's matches.
