The play by the Patriots’ guard, #63 Dan Connolly, is unreel (sorry, I didn’t want to do it but I had to, 🤣). I would bet that most casual fans or new fans assume that he is slow but strong and not very quick, mostly due to his massive size and the fact that offensive linemen rarely run the required distance to reach top speed. I know that was my impression of offensive linemen when I was younger. But in reality, these guys are world class athletes that possess amazing combinations of size, speed, strength and quickness.

I had no business bunting with 2 strikes but I forgot the count for about 3 seconds, bunted by mistake but it slipped right between their 1st and 2nd basemen because NOBODY expected it and I was safe on first and the runner scored and we won that game.

We had a heavy team mindset so while I was congratulated for it, we also had a guy park an absolute bomb to center field for a triple and brought in 2 more guys. There were good plays made defensively by just about everyone. We knew EVERY positive effort was what won us the game. That if we worked together, gave 110%, and used our weaknesses and strengths to our advantage, we'd pull through and that's what happened.
