The new Siemen's Amtrak locomotive is now making some appearances. I'm watching to see how they work out. Their plant is a just a few miles from my residence.

Gilman was a favorite location. catching black IC power(GP40s and GP7s)GMO power and TPW running a few trains per day. Chasing ICG north and south meant you could see all kinds of RRs. CR,MP,NW,Chessie,LN. Not the same anymore. Just memories.

"You can never go back home." ~ A quote I heard many times in childhood from upset adults. Now I understand! lol, Every railroad of my childhood is now a bike path made from pulled up rails, a small start-up on a cast-off branch line, or some out of state/country foreign invader with a very bad logo and paint scheme. Absolutely gone are the old favorite rolling stock and motive power. Still, there are a few new interesting pieces of rolling stock to be recreated in scale.

Haven't seen that one before, that's why it shocked us when we saw it on CN trackage. Totally unexpected
