CRAZIEST TICKET I'VE EVER RECEIVED! *7FT LONG* 6 TICKETS WRITTEN AT ONCE! (LOCAL COPS FURIOUS)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
This is a story Jimbo generated in a past life, A story that has been sitting on the shelf for the last 2 years. He isn’t proud of it, but he knew it was worth sharing as it is relatable. It was a massive learning experience.
For speeding WAY over the posted speed limit, Jimbo, while driving his Loud old C5 corvette, got written multiple tickets for going 105mph in a 65mph zone.
Along with Jimbo’s story of recklessness, Hunter, new to the channel, also got a ticket a while back that changed the way he drove. He got a ticket for doing similar speeds while carrying something most wouldn’t… Regardless, he made it out simply because he was honest.
We decided to release this video today because of new year’s day being just around the corner. Please, be safe out there. Use Hunter and Jimbo as poster boys of what NOT to do.

Same thing happened to me except it was in my F-150. Nothing makes your butthole pucker like going sideways in an F-150 going going 100MPH. Didn't flip. Didn't hit anything. I don't know if this is better or worse but there wasn't even another car on the road that saw it happen. I sat on the side of the highway for about five minutes contemplating every choice I'd made in my life that led to that point and went on with my drive.

@@S-K69 Going between 55 & 60 on a somewhat unfamiliar paved country road. Come over a small hill and barely have enough time to go, "oh $h!t" before I'm into the water that's over the road. Car's starting to pull towards the 5ft ditch on my side of the road. Drifted down the center at 45 deg. with front end pointing into the abyss. Thankfully I'd put on new front tires a few days prior, there was no one else around & I was able to recover without filling my shorts. Definitely a wake up call.

I wish Being a new owner of a Mustang, I could let my short story be heard lol. 7 days after I was able to purchase a Mustang Gt, I floored it going under a bridge, while it was just slightly wet out... I made sure there was no vehicles in front or behind me by at least a few hundred feet in both directions. But yeah, I smashed it doing 65 , and I was surprised the wheels spun. Then traction control kicked in and in my Mustang that cuts power completely and TC decides to apply brakes to certain wheels i guess. Any ways, The wheels were spinning, the car cut the throttle and i was 2 lanes over before I even felt what was happening. I don't want to become a mustang owner that aims for crowds.... Im only glad I waited until I had a clear 360° from other drivers around myslef. Just always be safe, don't push your limits and always make sure if you are pushing your own limits no one else is around to injure, and do it in a safe place.

I can't say how many times I've been passed by somebody doing mach 1 on the highway...to just pull up to them at a red light later, or better, see them on the side of the road with a cop behind them. That 5 minutes you saved isn't worth the ticket you might get or the person you hurt in an accident while driving stupid. A saying I learned while in the Marines. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. My moment of zen happened a few decades ago. I was street racing my car against a Porsche on a recently blacktopped road. It had rained earlier and the road had that slight oily slick stuff on it, because it had just been black topped a few days prior. I tried to take a turn way too fast. Tapped the brakes out of panic and got on top of the oily stuff...started to helicopter. Hit a curb and bounced my car a good 5+ up in the air and hit a pole broadside. My head went through the drivers side window. Luckily I only ended up with some small cuts and bruises. Ever since then. I don't do stupid shit in my car. I prefer to drive sports cars and the like, but I don't drive them like an idiot anymore.

So my second Ticket was in VA, I had a 1986 Pontiac Fiero, I was on a 45 going 70. I was on these beautiful S curves, 3am warm summer night with no humidity. I started to slow down as I got towards the end of the bridge. So I was going somewhere in the 60s. I saw the cop and I just pulled over. He hadn’t even turned on his lights and I just pulled over. He asked why I stop and I straight said “You’re giving me a speeding ticket right?” He wrote my ticket it 12 over the 45mph. Thank god for that cop. I knew I shouldn’t have been doing that fast. 3am no one was on the road but me, and that cop.

sheessshh this makes me happy because i got stopped going 110 on a 55 on the 78 with an expired reg. he was gonna give me "reckless driving," speeding and the reg. got off with the officer dropping the charges to 65 on a 55 , "fail to use signal" and the reg.

I got pulled over in Tennessee for going 104 in a 45 in my base model 2010 Passat. It was by a state trooper with an equally clever place that he was parked up at, crest a hill and bam there he was. Truly the best spot for both of us because it taught me a lesson. I had just turned 18 not 4 weeks before, he easily could have arrested me, he easily could have given me reckless driving, he could have done really anything he wanted to at that speed. But he didnt, i had just switched insurances because I had dropped my collision coverage and the insurance company was working things out so they gave me a paper copy printout of my insurance that was super sketchy looking and i dont blame him for not believing. That was the only thing he ticketed me for along side of the speed. The ticket came with 6 points which wasnt good for me either, but the thing that gets me is he didnt even go to the court date so the speeding charge was dropped along with insurance because i brought proof that I had insurance at the time. All I had was a $120 court fee, truly a lesson Im never going to forget, and a ticket Im not going to throw away.

Being respectful and nice to the cops can get you out of things. I have 2 speeding stories myself. The first one: I was a senior in high school. I was going to a baseball game not just to watch but to play. I went down in front of the park in my town doing about 40-50, in a 25 "racing" another senior. He pulls up and jokingly says "Same time, same place" and drives off. No sooner than he drove off did the brand new Charger that the police department got pulled up. No lights, no sirens, just casually pulled up for what anyone would assume to be a friendly chit chat. As he walked up to the truck, 2010 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior Edition, I was *shitting* myself. Of all the questions asked, the one I remember most as it basically hinged on if whether or not I'd get a ticket was: "Do you normally drive like that?" Fortunately me being a smartass was able to come up with a beast answer in: "Only when I'm being stupid." His face moved in the manner of "I approve of that answer, and I did not expect it." I should have gotten a hefty ticket, somehow I got off with just a verbal warning. I have not driven like that in years. Second story is similar only I was a sophomore in college and I was going 66 in a 60. In Missouri, *MOST* highway patrol won't pull you over until you hit 6 over. They are fine with 5 over. Also talked my way out of that ticket. The somewhat hilarious part of that encounter was the officer was a friend of my father's.

Thats crazy. Last year 15.9 i got my worst ticket. It was 607€. 127km/h in a 100km/h zone. In a BMW 525 e39 wagon. Registered as a van. And vans cant go over 100km/h in Finland. So i got two tickets for speeding. One for going over posted speed limit and the second for technical overspeeding. Thats when i started thinking that its not worth it speeding.

In the uk some police forces will give you 10% +2mph over the speed limit to account for speedometer difference. So at a 70 limit you have up to 79mph

Reminds me of the one good encounter with the Oregon State police I've had. I was probably 17 or 18 I was in a 1995 Taurus Sedan (Just a normal one, not a SHO) coming down what we call 'Roberts' Mountain'. It was a dry day, i was passing cars, but I wasn't tailgating. I just took my feet off both pedals and guided the car through the corners. I round the last corner of a series of 5 curves pointed down hill, there's a cutout in the median -- Guess who's waiting at the bottom? I looked at my dials the instant I saw him waiting -- Dials said 83. I'm on the one road with the highest speed limit in the entire state -- I5, Douglas County -- 65 is the highest the entire state allows for, even today. I immediately backed it off to 65 and dipped into the right lane, and as soon as I pass him by, I look in the mirror and he's leaving his spot. At that point I think to myself: yep, busted -- Here's your first ticket. I waited for him to catch up and didn't dive off until he lit me up. he asked me why I was going so fast and I was straight with him: I wasn't looking at the dials, just letting the car do its thing. He clocked me at 81. No. Ticket. Not even a written warning. Just a verbal. Before I could be back in gear, he was gone again -- Pretty sure a more important situation saved me from a nice fat ticket. Since then, I've been stopped for my speed TWO other times -- Once because 56 in a 45 where the speed limit increases to 55, i just wasn't at the sign yet - No cite, still. Just a verbal again. and again Illigitimately by a city cop in a town I have some problems with -- Including some cops nearly hitting my vehicle and hitting me with BS Fines and charges resulting from a crash in a parking lot where another driver failed to stop at a stop sign and struck me making a turn with no stop sign. I was given the Reckless driving, no signaling, and one other cite I couldn't shake. Even with video. Not only did it total out two cars, I got stuck with 5 cites (two of which were dismissed) and the fault by insurance even though I didn't have to yield right of way. One of 3 reasons I have to strongly dislike the police in that specific town. The cops in MY town, on the other hand, the most recent to stop me for my speed, work with me and i work with them. More than once has my dash cam helped them in different investigations. OH, and one more, I was pulled over on my bike by another home-city cop wondering where the hell I got my lights because he'd never once seen a bicycle with turn signals. To this day, No other cycles in the county that I have ever seen had turn signals. I still have the light kit, but the brackets were on a bike that got stolen about 6 years ago, so I haven't been able to use them since. I'm working on having new brackets made since the manufacturer for that light kit went black.

I was testing out a 1JZGTE MR2 swap!!! I was on a road called Poor Man's Parkway , and stretched it out. Passed a cop sitting on the side of the road at around 120-125 mph. I didn't see him until way too late , and when I did. ( Idont know why) but my brain said " Oh Shit" and I punched it harder! After like 5 or 6 sec I came to my senses and slowing it down and pulled over. I got out of my car , lit a cigarette , and waited. He came up on me like a bat out of hell , and was SOOOO pissed off. I think he was even more mad that I was just leaning against my car waiting than anything else. 1700 bucks in total ! LOL

I did sell it, unloaded it for cheap, it was for sale 2000 miles later on Corvette forum. I'll have to look up the VIN, I'm curious to see where that car went. Most of the 1996 will make an appearance, she's doing fine.

To pass a safety your tire circumference cant change by more than 3% (in Ontario anyway). Meaning at 60mph your speedo would only be off by like 2 mph. So if it's out more than that theres a problem with your car or you have made illegal modifications. So the speedo thing is basically moot

my worst ticket was 115 in a 65 The officer came up to my window and asked me why I was going so fast and I was honest with him and told him that I had someone tailgating me when I was doing 85 so I dropped a gear and left them (I was in a mid 400 hp cobalt ss) and I was honest with him and told him that I had the intention of not even pulling over due to me knowing that I was going to jail and that the only reason why I pulled over was due to me blowing my transmission all over the road (lost 3rd gear) he went back to his car and came back with a speeding ticket and told me that he knew I was going alot faster when I came over the hill but I hit the brakes before he could get his radar on and asked how fast were you honestly going when you crested the hill? to which I replied well my speedometer was pegged at 160 and if i had to guess somewhere close to 170-180 mph. He then said ok thanks for being honest with me if it wasn't for you being honest I'd go ahead and take you to jail right now but be prepared cause when you come to court you will be going to jail for reckless driving. it took me about 2 weeks to find an attorney to take the case and after going to court and getting everything settled i ended up with a 50+ over the limit ticket and 8 points on my license, a $300 fin, $1800 in attorney fees and the reckless driving charge dropped in total that little stunt costed me alot of money and prevented me from being able to apply to jobs that was in my field. at the end of the day I could careless about going fast anymore and am more concerned with just enjoying the ride not speed
