I mean it’s probably just because English isn’t exactly his first language. Plus it’s a difficult language. He speaks slower because he thinks in Japanese, he has to think of what word would be used for English and then in his mind translate it before speaking. It’s actually really hard to be able to speak a second or third language fast because of that.
