Ok I was going to make my own comment on it but I saw your so here goes. I don't watch football. Tbh I don't really care about it or have any interest in it. Sorry all. BUT. I actually exclaimed out loud.. "DAMNN" That shit was incredible. I don't have to even understand whats happening to know how wild it is that like 7-8 guys tried to take that mf down and FAILED. I'd watch football more often if I get to watch that particular dude do that shit even SOMETIMES. Nice.

@chriswebster242 жыл бұрын
It definitely does look that way! I thought it was an amazing coincidence when I first checked it out, after seeing this post, but then, I did a little research, and it turns out that the right fielder was actually miked up, because it was player/announcer night at the ballpark. The other announcer, who you can hear doing the play-by-play before the catch, believe it or not, is the center fielder, who is standing right next to him. The crazy thing is that most people have probably never even heard of player/announcer night, because I just totally made it up, but it certainly sounds like a a great idea, though, if you ask me.

When you catch a home run ball and go over the fence, it is still a home run. You have to stay in the field of play.
@airpapa23742 жыл бұрын
No that's not true, yes the ball is still in play but only if someone's already on base. If you rob a homer thats an out
@MinistryOfMagic_DoM2 жыл бұрын
Nope. If you catch it in the process of going over the wall it's an out. The worst part? If you catch it, hit the wall, then drop it on the other side, it's now a double because it touched a player and was knocked out of play. Unfortunately it's a really common thing to see it bounce off a player, be caught and the glove fly off, and other iterations of the caught/dropped over the wall, and the league umpires don't know the rule and call it a home run. Very recently they got confused by this in the Red Sox game when an error bounced off a player out of play, but fortunately they called New York and got it right. In any instance when a ball touches a player in play and then goes out, even if that player is in the air, it is a double.

MLB should allow the team that's batting to have coaches positioned near 1st base and 3rd base who could observe when the fielder merely fakes throwing the ball to the pitcher and could warn the baserunner to stay on the bag.

I'm a GSW fan, but he clearly makes contact with his defending hand with Harden's shooting hand after the shot is put up, this isn't even some of the more gregarious Harden foul draws. Usually he is the king of what Curry does in a different clip in this video. The jump up and draw a foul without any intention of even taking a shot BS that was getting to a ridiculous level for awhile, thankfully I think they aren't doing it as much anymore.
