The Schlitterbahn slide (Verrückt) was closed cause a 10 year old was decapitated by one of the metal poles on the 2nd hill due to a seatbelt on the raft being broken. Edit: For a more detailed description read below: A 10 year old minor named Caleb decided to ride Verückt. When he got on with his mother and another woman. They did NOT meet the requirement of 400LBS because the 2 women lied about their age. They began riding. Because the raft didn’t meet the weight limit and a seatbelt malfunction on the 2nd hill the raft went airborne and Caleb struck a pole which gave him fatal neck injuries decapitating him almost instantly. The 2 women were soaked in blood and they found him body in the pool at the end. The two women suffered facial injuries. There have been other reports of injuries on Verückt, such as broken toes, back injuries, neck injuries and intense migraines.

When I was visiting my family we went to a water park and there was this one ride that had a tunnel but first it spun you around the tunnel before you went down and I got stuck because the water was pushing me to the side and I literally had to stand up and drag my tube over to the tunnel and right when I was at the tunnel somebody else on another tube came down and we crashed into each other 😐

10:09 This slide is lot more fun than what appears to be. I’ve been on that slide before and it’s amazing! I try riding this ride at least once a year because the line sometimes gets to 2 hours long at the longest. Can be longer sometimes. Also that first drop is a lot bigger in person. It’s really high up and it gets adrenaline rushing. I totally recommend it. It’s called Master Blaster and it’s at Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels.

I never went on a waterslide before... only on those tiny ones at the Carson Valley swim center and on 6 flags i went on the water roller coaster too, never a real one :/

For people who haven’t experienced the slides where the floors disappear. They are terrifying. I didn’t want to go on one but we lined up and I didn’t want to go back down all the stairs as the slide is really high up. I went on and the woman saw I was scared she counted down for everyone else except me. It’s fun after you are dropped because it is just a normal slide but is scary when you drop. I didn’t go on again. Now you know what it’s like sort of 😂
