I'm a bus drive. If I drove like this I would be fired in 10 seconds. No questions asked. I never break the speed limit. I know my routes well enough to know exactly how fast to take every corner smoothly. If my passengers stop talking to each other or look up from their mobile phones then I have failed. I know which portions of the route I can safely get close to the speed limit and I use those sections to make up time if I need to. I also know which sections need to be taken slowly no matter how late I am. I'm a good bus driver. This what we call a cowboy driver. Pathetic

I think this is common in India. As far as I can see, almost everything with wheels is allowed on the roads. What you can do? Take a 2hr long trip within 10hr just to avoid taking over a donkey pulled makeshift "vehicle"?

Video has been manipulated, including sped up. Look closely at this and other vids and you will see the driver chewing very fast or passengers standing and scrolling through phone very quickly. I am a coach driver and can attest that the camera is giving a very false impression of speed. It would not look like this is real life. It would look much slower.
