Hello! It's a friends car, but if i remember correctly - turbo was from ebay (product from China), metal head gasket with higher strength screws, custom exhaust 76mm, Vems engine control unit, don't remember correctly about intercooler and pipes. Engine was stock and car holded well, but engine just blew up (a week ago). :D So, if you want to build your project the right way, you need better strength internals, but that's way more expensive. It's really like lottery, some stock engines holds well, but others can't hold that much power. This e34 just got another m50 engine and this build will be more serious with 500hp + in mind. :) If you want, i can post more information about this build later.

@@elineese5419 Only problem is that these m50 engines are becoming really rare and kind of expensive. :) Early e34 models used m20b25 cast iron block engine, and later models used m50b25tu aluminum block single vanos engine.

@@elineese5419 He has an Instagram account, but unfortunately he doesn't post car related stuff. He was not alone in that project, other turbo guru people helped. There's also a lot of information about turbo builds on the internet, but i recommend you to find people in your area that knows this stuff, because there's a lot of regulating, adjusting involved.

It's really like lottery, some stock engines holds well, but others can't hold that much power. I think that car would have holded well with 300h. This e34 got another m50 engine and this build will be more serious with 500hp + in mind. :)

Not much - lowered ride height, welded differential with 3.15 ratio, hydraulic handbrake, rebuilt engine, ported cylinder head, custom made camshaft, custom exhaust, clutch from 3.0d, remap and some weight reduction.
