Netherrelm needs to buff scorpion by making his amp teleport a regular cancel like how the smoke cancel is, and make his amp teleport launch again.

I agree bro, his teleport cancel is so mf slow & basically useless this MK! Wish they’d left it how tf it was in MK11. Fully hit confirmable & added mind games to teleport right next to em or far away & catch em with a spear. This year they all press because it’s so predictable

I think the game overall is more enjoyable than MK 11 but if I were to compare year 1 MK 11 to year 1 MK 1 strictly competitively I prefer MK 11. I hope it gets better in the future

hey avirk, i know you’re a busy man but I could really use your advice! between you and diff, I’ve been inspired to main scorpion! and I finally played in my first tournament last night. I placed 4th place, and won every one of my wins with 3-0, but i ended up losing to raiden/kano bc frankly, I didnt know the matchup, and it genuinely feels like there is no counterplay. it also feels like no matter where I armor, what I do, or how hard I try to lab, there doesn’t seem to be a way to stop his pressure or punish stormcell. i ended up playing the raiden/kano in losers too and it ended 2-3, if you have any advice on tech on how to counter this meta, or knowledge on a specific character/kameo that can counter raiden/kano’s gameplan, your advice is deeply appreciated and valued

Play patient and learn when to flawless block the gaps in storm cell to take less chip damage. Also know where you can armour and if he does something unsafe into kameo depending on the timing you can d2 trade

@@AVirk- this is really good advice, I’ll get to it. it is a shame tho, NRS nerfed cyrax (which needed to be nerfed), yet raiden kano is aloud to exist, seems like a double standard, and people are abusing it. it’s very frusterating in a competitive setting, the losses feel undeserved and the wins aren’t very rewarding bc the matchup just isnt fun. thank you again for your time and advice
