My friend on tumblr put me onto the musical, but she didn't quite have the exact performance. It's not easy to tell sometimes listening to a noisy 30-second preview clip. But it turned out to be the 1992 recording in the end. OK Crazy 8s was the name of a certain set of dancers that competed on the TV show. This dance is a regular competition group from their studio about a year before that. Seven of these nine dancers were in the Crazy 8s.
