Wow! The technology is amazing, and your tutorial here is VERY helpful. I had been toying around with AI image generators, but I was only getting the lame results like you showed here at first. But then with the modifiers, the results improved very dramatically. I had observed others using the Discord AI and using terms like "cute" and "beautiful" and I was doubtful that the technology would translate those terms into a better image, but sure enough, it did. This is exactly what I was hoping for: A way to use this technology that will have practical application for POD. Thank you, Philip!

Awesome! I am glad the video was helpful to you. And the good thing is just copying someone else's prompt isn't stealing, as the AI always creates new original artwork.

Yes you can if you have either a creative fabrica or a cf spark subscription ;)

Really great video. I have subscribed to CF Spark and it really is something else. Could you explain for me please... I'm new to this and trying to understand the different ratio options. I would like to use this tool for t shirts, art prints. You mentioned 2:3 is the best for this type of product, but does that mean you're unable to use any other ratio for these products. Also, if you've saved in different ratios can you convert them if needed? Sorry long message, but appreciate any advice!
@PhilipAnders Жыл бұрын
You can use any ratio for t-shirts, I just suggested 2:3 because it matches the usual tall rectangular shape of most t-shirt prints. I don't think you can convert it afterwards however. Maybe try out different formats and see what works best for you ;)

@@PhilipAnders Thank you for the quick reply! I'll follow your suggestion and see what comes out. I did a load of designs on CF Spark in 1:1 just to see what it looked like and there were some amazing designs. It was only afterwards that i thought 'hang on' and i dont have enough knowledge (yet), so i appreciate you taking the time to answer. Thats a sub from me sir! :)

I see the images are pretty big, but the resolution is below 300dpi. Does it print well on shirts?

Is this safe though? Adobe Illustrator is the best software I ever used.
@PhilipAnders2 жыл бұрын
safe for what exactly? Adobe Illustrator is great, It's my primary design tool as well. But you can't really compare it to an AI image generator, it's a different kind of tool
@Youtubervideos1252 жыл бұрын
@@PhilipAnders okay I understand. I know it's different but as in t-shirt designing do you think using those ai images is safe? I prefer drawing them if I am going to use them that way I make my big changes.

@@KZbinrvideos125 If you can create designs yourself more easily that's always great. The tool is just to help speed up the process. If you have a subscription and therefore a commercial license you can use them commercially

CF Spark has VERY specific usage rights for their AI generated images. You are NOT allowed to use their AI images "as is." They specify their AI generated images MUST be SIGNIFICANTLY altered if they are to be used in POD.
@robertjames84232 жыл бұрын
cant use them for commercial use anyhow as most of them are not allowed for commercial use I know stable diffusion was against it before haven't checked them lately
@PhilipAnders2 жыл бұрын
that's what the subscription is for. If you have a subscription you can use them commercially😉

So, It means if I don't have any subscription I can't download the art?

Correct - You can try the tool without a subscription, but you can't download the art for commercial use

CF and Canva are both powered by Stable Diffusion. Canva just allows you to control more options. Better to just install Stable Diffusion without having to use another company.

@@pushismano77 😂 I tinkered with it for about day and by the end of it was like meh, rather stick with Procreate. Disclaimer: I am an engineer by trade so my tinkering is not always sane. For anyone that reads this thread: the “magic” to the AI art is very clear language paired the right settings as input. It can take a LOT of patience if you don’t have a very clear idea of what you want or don’t know a variety of ways to describe what you want to see. For example tattoo art and Mendhi. Both are ways you could describe line art via examples that will get you similar BUT different results from the AI.

I've found that combining words yields better results, like "dabbingunicorn" (one word, no spaces).
