I agree with mom, leave some of the leaves on the sunflowers. It looks so much prettier in a vase with a few leaves

Hello Logan! We’ve also had days and days of rain and like this morning, sprinkling of it. Nights are already in the low 50s. For an avid gardener, this weather here really sucks but, your produce looks bountiful and healthy. Take care…👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

Look how tall those zinnias have grown. Wow! They would be a beautiful addition to a wedding hall, the colors are beautiful. I hope many people will come and pick them before the frost comes.

Remember when you asked us weeks and weeks ago about what to do with the sunflower starts? Nice to see you agreed with us about selling them as cut flowers. And yes, Mom, rip off those leaves. What I want to ask you is about the ancestry of your beautiful farm. You mentioned that your great grandfather planted that apple tree. One day, can you tell us more about your farm history? How long the family has owned the farm, how they learned to farm in such rocky land, etc. I would love to know!!! P.S. My grandfather farmed in more sandy soil down in south GA.

Those are some big peppers. I am sure people don’t mind at all. Hopefully our storm Debby brought you some rain. Came in at me but just took off toward the east. We have another one coming so hopefully people who need will get rain from this one.

Do you reuse the water in the washer? Seems like it would be expensive using new water all the time.

Maybe your folks planted some Anaheim or Hatch variety Jalapeños. They're big. Actually? A great batch of apples for a apple pie is a few old orchard apples ( Spey?) Granny Smith and the rest Winsap, McIntosh, whatever you like. I heard Fuji is pretty good. Granny Smith is tart, but has tremendous flavor. As do the Speys. Yeah. We got more than enough rain for a while. Stay outta the mud! God bless and safe travels!

it just breaks my soul to see how rocky your fields are. i am not making fun, i am just stating how it makes me feel. i wish you guys had a good way of getting a lot of the rocks out of your fields. even the very small rocks/gravel to me is frustrating to see. bless your souls !!!! you guys work harder than you should, and yes its honest work !!!!!!!

Maybe the rocks perform some drainage of rain water for the fields, and it doesn't seem to affect the quality products they grow. We just don't like the look of rocks.

As for the apple taste I would think it has to do with the specific type vs spraying or not. Some are better for baking and others more for the eating…not an expert though. Best wishes
