Storms rage and push gruesome waves into the east coast of Australia. Only a few brave men jumped out to test their mettle. Dangerous and unpredictable sets that surged straight into the rocks meant full focus was on making it out of the ocean on this day unscathed.

Bodyboarding / surfing waves on reefs, in remote locations around Australia and Bali. I love both novelty and big waves! With everything that's going on in the world right now, there's nothing like getting into some waves and surf to take us away from it all. Self-isolation in some deep barrels is a valid way of social distancing!
I love exploring new waves in new locations and I love bring my viewers along my journey. Sometimes it get's sketchy as some of the waves I surf (shallow reefs, dry reefs, deep ocean slabs) get pretty gnarly. If this kind of content sounds interesting to you -- please drop a like on the video and subscribe so you are among the first to see my new vids!

There are two types of thrills in bodyboarding: When you catch a long, fun ride on a large predictable wave, and when you hang on for dear life on a monster hurricane swell like in this video. Mad respect for this man, he will never forget those freak waves as long as he lives.

It's Pikers Hole at Kurnell (some younger folk call it Solander or Ours) and it's WAY too east-northeast this day. This joint either has no-one out at all, or so many out it's just plain stupid. Coming in on the rocks this day must have been fun.

It wasn’t that bad out but there also wasn’t much worth riding to deal with that weather. So long as he didn’t put other people at risk doing it, more power to him. In southeast Florida, the waves suck so bad most of the year that locals love an off shore hurricane to give them a few hours of 15 second rides instead of 5

I'd sooner surf The Wedge (I live there) during a high tide and a Hurricane swell, at least those 20+ footers are somewhat properly arranged. This is just pure gnarly, on days like this, it's best to find sheltered breaks.
