I really don't like how the words bled on the canvas, I thought the Mod Podge would help with that.
I would suggest using a flat sign if you try this DIY.

I like the way it turned out. I have tried painting stencils at Board and Brush and they bled. If you, the talented crafter, had problems with bleeding then I guess it's not easy.
