Episode 2 of our new low BUDGET crazy CHEAP build series. This time we are building our own custom made roll cage. I am not a professional chassis builder. This is just how I do it on my own at home in my garage. Circle track has very wide ranges of "tech inspection" Make sure you build yourself a safe car! I never suggest cheaping out on any safety items. seat is one of the most important ones. But since most people dont listen to me anyways you can always look on marketplaces for a kirkey. Can usually find them for 50 bucks or so. I would suggest buying a nice containment seat though. its a one time purchase and can go in any car you change to in the future.

Yeah for sure you can have a shop do it or have a friend with some skills. That will cost you a bit more money. I was self taught. Plenty of tutorials on KZbin on MIG welding if you want to just buy the tools once and figure it out! Good luck out there!

What are the regulations for the race? I mean in terms of performance of your vehicle

its supposed to be "stock" front wheel drive cars. No turbos, superchargers or 4ws. Some minor mods are allowed. Exhaust after the manifold. Intake before the throttle body. spring modification. etc.

@@thatracinglife man amazing work... I am making my own rollacge and i am free to do whatever i want because I dont have to follow any regulations(private track). I am planning to weld the tubes to the chassis instead of using gussets and connect in the back to the rear subframe. I believe it will give much more regidity and much easier than gussets whats your take on it??

I love compacts here in Ohio we got so many dirt tracks and a few pave all have some sort of compact cheap way to have a lot of fun and if u can’t have fun what’s the point of racing
