UPDATE: Today 02/07/23 I took my shahada I’m a Roman Catholic and the more of these debates and videos on Islam & The Quran I watch, the more I find myself to agree with the Perspective of Islam more than Catholicism, I have bought the Quran and look forward into studying this religion more, if only others would be more willing to listen instead of shout over others out of sheer arrogance and ignorance in their own bliss and beliefs, open your mind and explore every option until you find what is right

This one is a crazy one, I know coz I was there filming it with 4 cameras. Insanity from the Christians, they couldn’t keep it together. Props to Hamza though, he handled all of them single handedly, and sent them packing. In all honesty though, this started off civil and escalated badly all because of two reasons: 1) the old Christian man he was speaking to agreed with Hamza and then retracted his agreement when the Christian nut jobs turned up and 2) the Christian nut jobs turned up and went doolally! As a Christian I have learned more about my faith and Bible from Hamza than any Christian teacher/preacher. 99% of what the Christians say does not have any logical proof. That's embarrassing. Brother Hamza straight up just said the holy spirit doesn't exist, which isnt even the Islamic position which the lady points out (the holy spirit is the angel Gabriel). Who is disrespecting who? He set the whole tone of the debate right there, of course the Christians are going to get defensive that's damn near an insult. He could of addressed the point that the holy spirit helped all the authors to write their books (not entirely untrue, the original gospels would of been authored with the help of the angel Gabriel, though not the books of Paul) instead of highlighting the corruptions he merely resorts to disrespect. I know you're just joking but there does seem to be something very disturbingly accurate about this and I really want to know why this is the case! I've talked and worked with so many others and its been a consistent observation to them as well to the point where they just can't stand them after having either grown up with them most of their lives and couldn't help but feel being imprisoned by their overzealous righteousness and it seems to be a greater number of quite unhinged individuals from this particular sector as well and they cannot help cackling and even going out of their way to provoking others who don't subscribe to their particular worldview. We even have cases here where they go about harassing, trying to also intimidate non-christians and even instigating confrontations to entrap a person to physically assaulting and killing people and it is clear as daylight that it is being organized by them. I haven't come across anyone else anywhere remotely near equivalent to them conducting themselves in such manners where their characteristics are bordering on more along the lines of criminality and dysfunction rather than that of a people that have ANYTHING close to practicing the teachings of Jesus or that of piety. In fact, I see Muslims being more close in line to the teachings of Jesus than these others proclaiming to calling people to salvation. And this is all occurring totally outside of the scope of the speaker's corner where it seems to attract these similar very distasteful characters with some that seems one step away from harming others that don't agree with them. I've lived around assortment of different people even fruitcakes and other people that I don't agree on everything with but don't necessarily think anything more of them where I would be so unhinged yet this one sector, they take the cake. And it has me more curious now. I am more fascinated now and want to know what is it about their special kool-aid to make them like this and not others. I've even entertained the thought that perhaps they are trolls & hoaxsters relishing in pot-stirring up trouble and enjoying getting a rise out of others than it is actually about loving Jesus, salvation, etc. Quacks than quakers in a nutshell. And frankly, I wanna steer clear from it because it just doesn't add up. I mean the whole friggin thing, feels more like a circus side show. And it just hit me again, even street carnivals and festivals, I've seen these very traits, icons and energies among them too, seems more territorial like in nature. Again, this doesn't seem to be isolated at all, the greater their belief in their own salvation, the greater the abrasiveness, the greater the need to push it down to others or to give the impression that they're saved especially when someone doesn't want their brand of salvation kool-aid or whatever else they are peddling be it disguised as music, art, performance, self-help books, motivational tapes, skills sharing, etc... Also, they've become running jokes and even caricaturized in different movies too and all by their own doing and I don't think this is what they were intending. Again, this very brash and abrasive and so self assured of their own salvation as much as they are totally obnoxious, bombastic and proud, traits that are totally antithetical to Jesus own conduct and where its actually Muslims that have more common traits to Jesus than them. Something is certainly getting lost in translation. They took the salvation part and threw the husk and everything else away. With an overwhelming feeling of it all being a sham. Is it a cultural thing? In more reserved and traditional minded cultures, boastfulness and pridefulness are actually looked upon as big sins and very much frowned upon. With your background, I wonder if you have more insight to these observations. Why does it seem to be so prevalent in some and not others.
