so the old guy that asks renya n the others to play hide n seek with is the same guy u saw at the opening of the game when he was a kid. basically when he was a kid his mom used to beat him up n torture him due to which he got so traumatized that he became mentally disabled so in his mind he thinks that he is also a kid n thats the reason he asks them to play so he is not really the creepy guy he is actually a very kind soul who became victim of abuse at a very young age he never wanted to hurt renya n his sister in the first place even when he kidnaps them he never hurts them n this game shows us how many lives are ruined because there parents weren't good people n also renyas smile at the end reveals how mentally he too get damaged to a point that he just wished for this to happen to his mother

THE PLOT GUY IS HEREEE in 1st we see how the kidnapper sarao was treated bad by his mother and killed her with that hammer later blood stains could be seen through across the house and being mentally disturbed he was just alone and regretting. And the other part where there mom leaves them the sister maybe wanted to be with sarao(kidnapper) who just wanted anyone around him and didnt had any bad intention. Though the kid we are playing want back to his home but sarao chases us all the story. and the laugh of the boy explains he also hated his mother and wanted her to die (sarao killed boys mother because he felt the same boys mother as his mother and he was mentally ill too) btw mom was just selfish and just came back because of the police in one ending and by the friends mother in another. and funny how the darkest ending is the only good one xD this game was fun and easy to understand but still guys the plot is hereee

I think the kid ( our character) is the future mister.. Like mister childhood ruined due to her mother and he killed her mother. Similarly, mister has killed the kid's mother.. and then the kid was smiling which denotes kid will become kidnapper just like mister.. At the end, it was just my theory which csme into my mind when the kid was smiling at the end..
