CRAZY Clydesdale Horses Galloping and Going Wild!

My Clydesdale horses on having been released from their stable and yard for the first time in a long time. Taken in March 2013. They were loving the freedom! The reason they were in for so long was because of the huge flooding during the winter of 2012 - 2013: one of the worst winters in living memory.
PS: thank you everyone for the kind and positive comments. For a long time I managed to reply to everyone, but, to be honest, I am now not able to keep up with them all. Thank you all once again and I am glad that you have enjoyed seeing my horses.

I love these strong beautiful creatures. When I was a child my friends and I would run wild in pastures with the horses. We would chase them and then they would chase after us. I wish I could have that life back.

Thanks for this! Usually have to get my Clydesdale fix from watching Budweiser commercials. This is a delight. Pure horse joy! I must say that, if I were choosing one of these to ride, it would be one of the bays. The one with the gorgeous action who appears to float above ground when running. Wow!

I used to ride our neighbor’s Clydesdale when I was in my early teens. It was the thrill of a lifetime. I was born loving horses. “Dan” was up in years but was still pretty feisty. He would take me under the cherry trees to try to knock me off. What a laugh!!! I loved it. Bareback and just a halter and rope reins. How can you fall off of a back that broad?!! I so enjoy watching your videos. Brings back wonderful memories!

This was purely medicinal to watch - My Dad raised TN Walking Horses throughout his life (altho he had a soft heart & took in many orphans of all breeds). My Dad died in 2000 & I sure miss sitting in the field w/ him, watching his horses "play". I'm wondering why your guys were in their stable for 4 solid months....Bad weather? Illness? We live in FL, so rarely kept horses stalled unless a Hurricane was heading our way. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this awesome video ~

Yes, there were heavy rains and floods in the country all winter and it was the first chance that the ground had dried up enough to allow them out. It was a real fluke of a winter, because it had never been that wet before, and hasn't happened since either :)

TSunday Beaunus, my chestnut Arabian, was by my side for 26 yrs (I was 8 when I bought him). I lost him VERY unexpectedly. I recently decided I am finally ready to get back and around horses. I have an appt this weekend to visit a rescue so I can volunteer my time I used to spend w/my boy. I also have been donating what I used to pay in board to different rescues each month. I cannot wait to see, touch, smell and be around these magnificent animals again!!
