Yeah they did film that scene in Edinburgh. I live there. My friend says that his bike was in the train station where Captain America, Black Widow and Falcon arrived. Says he must have left it there when they were filming that scene.

Thank God Gotham was renewed. Almost had a heart attack as the news was if Lethal Weapon finds a replacement actor to be renewed then Gotham would certainly by cancelled. So when they did find one I was so depressed. Only for news to come out a few hours later that Gotham would be getting its 5th and final season. Thank god for syndication as that probably played a huge role in why they brought it back. While cancelling shows like Lucifer which brought in better ratings.

The sign however is a joke for the film, that sign isn't there in real life (the entire kebab shop is a building they redressed for the film). Got the biggest laugh of the night in my screening!

A Scots person here. Great video, as always, sort of. Most chip/fish shops won't deep fry confectionery or kebabs. It was a huge thing in the 90's, short lived. They did have to keep changing the oil, or lard as it was in then. The chocolate seeped out. It is still a bit of a thing, not just with tourists. So some places have a separate fryer they can use.

Back in high school physics class our teacher played a clip of Star Wars to point out the errors with it. I argued that the explosions in the ships (before they fully blew up) were picked up on their radios and that's what we're hearing. Ya I don’t like that Eagle theory from LOTR. It’s been pulled apart in so many different ways from people who have actually read the books. Gandalf says “FLY” in the books lots of times, and it’s always mean run for your F***ing life. And Gandalf also tells them to fly as they are running down (before they even get to there) to the bridge. But the theory people only want to hear the time he said “Fly you fools”. It is a fun theory though..

i hate that people are still saying the eagle theory for lotr. when he says fly he means run, the eagles would take the ring and use it for them selves if they had the chance. the point of the half lings transporting it is because it takes much longer for them to be corrupted by it unlike every other faction in this world. they are also not a taxi service to call up and use. if anyone actually read the hobbit they use the eagles as a favor from radagast (who is missing for all of lotr). they also mention that they cannot go very far with them as when the eagles will eventually get hungry they will likely just eat the dwarves.
