Ty Harris Freestyling off the dome isn't easy. If it was everyone would be doing it. Just because you can't freestyle off the dome doesn't mean you can't rap. Freestyling is a plus but it's not a factor in music. Some people got it, and some don't.

You have a point but the entire purpose of calling yourself a rapper or lyricist is that you are, or are trying to be a master of your craft. Just as a professional let's say saxophonist can improve a solo unprepared, a rapper should be able to show they have more than natural talent with words via freestyling without relying on what was already written.
