He never really talked about the women in his life except for one, and she happened to be related to my boyfriend at the time. They didn't last long, and he didn't mention any other woman. We were close friends for years. One Sunday after church had just let out, he walked up to a woman and said it's either me or her, and the woman grabbed her wife's hand. Our friend pulled out a gun and shot that woman right there on church grounds. He then pointed it at her wife, but he only had two bullets, so he turned the gun on himself, and they both died right there. Nobody understood it then, and we still don't because we don't even know how/when or if they were actually seeing each other or if he just liked her. We all know that whatever the hell it was, it wasn't that serious.
