Someone correct me but I am pretty sure the B18C1 was the GSR motor, which explains the Skunk2 Type-R style intake manifold.

@@Highlander1432 I've driven mine for 9 years and love the way it handles, but I guess I wouldn't know any better. I briefly owned a 4runner with bald tires and bad struts that was absolutely horrible to drive, ended up doing a 180 on a bend in the road and down in the ditch with a flat tire. My CRV handles well on the snow and ice and is a comfortable ride, I don't even slow down for railroads

Upper control arms are not exactly the same they'll give you camber. Rear ek Mount will cause the axles to bind because it sits a bit lower

Do you think a vtec 1.4 block would fit into the crv? I think it came in the Japanese version so I really wanna know. I am also a crv project car enthusiast and I really want my car at the best it can be. What horsepower is It running rn at? Also do you think this build would work on a fwd automatic?

If you're mechanically inclined then I suggest you learn to manual swap it. I did with lots of KZbin and books but it was so worth it. It'll be about 1000 worth of parts and a weeks worth of time. Then to truly make power it's either slapping a b18c head on it or just boost it.

Unless its jdm, the stock motor is b20z, not b20b. B18c1 head is gsr head, not itr (itr is c5).

I want to trade in my 2016 CRV for an older model. My 2.4 Earthdreams AWD CVT is disappointing when it comes to potential. Stance it & cruise normal is my only option to keep my CVT safe.

The older models are a beauty. They come with the safety bumpers that don’t damage as easily as the plastic bumpers on most cars, there’s tons of space, there’s a damn table folded up in there for god sake, you can fold the seats into a bed. Older CRVs are an absolute beauty of a car. They can also handle some slow off-roading with raised wheels and different tires.
