@@TheMuser The jockey on 5, should have kept his whip, and got to work on his own horse, instead of giving up on his horse, he should have put his horse under the whip hard and kept the horse running.

Bloody thoroughbred horse owners. The only time you see them is when their horse wins and then they have to be in photos and hanging off the horse in the winners stall getting in the way patting each other on the back for a job well done.

Birgit Schenk I've raced, all i did like most of these jockeys, and that's I'd show the horse the whip, to remind him to keep going or else, but in the final straight i do whip the horse hard on his butt, to get the best placing, and we are only allowed to whip the horse hard on his butt 7 times.

@@lordrhino7026 a lot of horses die on track. Also the extensive amount of whipping is terrible. Im not against racing but there are a lot of bad apples out there. Horses have thinner skin with more nerve endings wich means if something hurts for you it hurts 10 times as bad for the horses. on top of that a lot of racing owners dont retire the horses after they win a big race. they over run them untill they basically collapse on track because of a heart attack, seizure or other medical problem. there are a lot of good racing homes but for the most part horses are mistreated at races

@@nva6071 Its a matter of keeping 1200 lbs of pure muscle between you and the ground, horses can't be forced to run, they run because they are loving it, a jockey rides a horse as a partner, a friend, if you think it's cruel, your wrong. Sure mistakes happen, but it comes with the danger of every sport, like football, or dog sled races, except your dealing with a animal 3x the size.
