Can someone Please tell me how Simon and Raphael would make a good ship? Like I know, with this show you can ship Anyone with Anybody (except Alec and Magnus with other people) but I'd like to know the reasons. Or is it just because they look good together?

I ship it mostly because of the first season---I basically ignore everything that came after. In the first season, Raphael freed Simon from Camille, then he constantly warned him to stay away, then when Simon died Raphael carried his body to his Clary and promised her that he would take care of him--Honestly, If that scene never happened, then I probably wouldn't ship them. It's twice now that Raphael has tried to stake Simon in the show, and then recently Raphael tries to use Simon when he went to him for help; so, I undeerstand why you would ask that question.... Secondly, I ship them because they're vampires, and the idea of two people in love being together forever is romantic. Side note: it's hard for me to get behind the Magnus and Alecs relationship because I found out that Alec at one point plots to get rid of his boyfriends immortality.
