One time I bought 2 $30 tickets, one was a loss the other one was worth $150 So I'm up $90..I get my original $60 back and decide to Gamble my win the $90 I get three more $30 tickets, switching it up a little bit.. All those three turn out to be no wins... I'm devastated... But hey I still got my original 60 dollars..I go in get one more 30 dollar ticket..It wins enough for me to get another ticket.. I go in feeling excited, a bit anxious though, so I get another 30$ ticket I go outside scratch scratch scratch, and nothing!!! I'm upset but with $30 still to my name, I go inside purchase another $30 ticket scratch scratch scratch and its a win for 60$ .. I figure hey I just doubled my money's and have what I originally spent so it would be best if I just walked away right now I didn't want to but my conscious was telling me to stop... This whole time going in n out of this store then to my vehicle to scratch then back inside the store to purchase more tickets I noticed two other individuals doing the same as I was, in n out in n out with this high/ anxious/ excited look on their face I realized at that very moment that this was an addiction similar to crack It's like we were the crackheads and the store was the crackhouse On my last walk out of the store I looked over at one older gentleman who had been in n out of the store buying scratch offs this whole time and jokingly said to him..
