Crazy kite-flying with a Trilobite in a high wind

My 1,070th kite video. The Trilobite is a great flier, but when the wind gets too strong it tends to misbehave. Its ability to self-launch, however is quite amazing, and it recovers unaided from most crashes. It's all probably not too good for the kite's longevity, however, so I didn't leave it up too long.

Agreed, Mark! It restricts the kites that can be flown, but at least there's usually something that will stay up.

That looks more like the wind we get here Jim. The Trilobite looked like he had found something to eat in the sand, Its one of todays great Kites I think. That Duck was having the ride of its life by the look of it. I am hoping to make another video soon. There is a Kite day at Taurus Crafts in a couple of weeks time.

The Trilobite would be my choice. I fly mine far more often than I fly the octopuses. They're easier to handle and fly in a wider wind range.

DId ya say ya have a 7 sqm trilo Jim? I can't remember but I was trying to find a video on it, I wanted to ask if the 7 sqm are good for hand flying?

It's not really a good idea to fly kites in wind that's too strong for them, of course, but I know that the Trilobite is quite tough.

The weather is so changeable here that I have to fly in various conditions or I wouldn't fly enough. I'm still waiting for the postman, Mustafa, but the journey is quite slow. Maybe this week!

Ah,yes I hope next week your package is will come.I am very excited.I made it for you,I hope you will like it. Next summer time in a Turkey,I want to made new soft kites.New sharks,Frogs,Parrots... Of course I can send for you if you like new kites.Because My kites will fly in a your country. It is very happy for me.(not for exchange) maybe one day,I want to fly our kites together..... And next week is OSOW. My sharks will swim with my new kite Trilobite on the Sky. Now,the weather is cold.But I hope next week will be good day for kite flying.
