I disagree with feminism being necessary. We're equally important, but not identical. Modern feminism pretends that we're completely identical but only for what's advantageous for them. Women are not as strong as men (on average), so why are women soldiers/firefighters/police having the same salary but with lower physical standards? Why are women not in the draft, yet have the same rights as men with extra duties to their country? How about women being able to falsely accuse men and men sometimes go to jail just in case she's right? Is guilty until proven innocent normal, specially when it's only for one gender? I don't hear about feminists demanding representation in mining or trucking jobs, only in well paid cozy office jobs and in the media. They're overrepresented in more than one industry, but I don't think they're like "oh let's tone it down, this is not equal, we should let more men in". And if they're good in that industry, I'm okay with them being the majority. I do care about them crying about not being the majority in every field that is comfortable and well paid. Even if some of those fields are usually not as popular for women. Yes, bad men exist (just like bad women), and they deserve punishment for abuse, rape, or any other crime they commit. Should society as a whole and men in particular suffer because of those bad people? No. Equality is equality and cannot ever be reached by focusing on the problems of half of those affected. Feminism in its root is fighting for inequality because it will never truly care about having equal oportunities and rights, feminism cares about quotas and positive discrimination will always end up being used for that effect. Feminism is not needed because legal equality has been reached, and in fact it has been abused for a while now. I believe in equal rights, I don't support feminism. Go ahead and support muslim feminists, or from some other place where they're needed. But I won't agree with feminism in any country like US/Canada/EU because it has been acting like a cancer since the last 10 years.
